Rice Lake India Vehicle Scales
The main structure of the weighbridge is steel and the deck is concrete for extra traction and easy repair. The front, back and speed of the vehicle are identified by infrared light curtains. All load cell cables are run through metal conduit, with flex conduit fittings at the load cell, to provide ultimate protection. A double-ended shear beam load cell is used with the G-Force™ mounting system to ensure a fast return to center before weighing each axle. After the individual axles are weighed, the total weight of the vehicle is displayed on a digital weight indicator.

The WIM is manufactured in accordance to ISO 9001 standards and provides faster, more accurate weighments.
What is the WIM?
The WIM is a load cell based system that measures the axle weight of vehicles traveling between 5 and 10 kmph to estimate the vehicle weight. This system can be used to check the weight of vehicles traveling on the highway. It will determine if a vehicle is overloaded or falls outside load limits and needs to be screened for static weight.
