Internships with Rice Lake are designed to help you gain essential professional skills. You’ll work on projects that directly impact our business processes, with mentorship from experienced professionals.
Additionally, you will be able to participate in professional workshops to update your résumé, create a project portfolio, and practice talking about your skillset and why those skills make you an asset to future employers.
Internship Details
Internships with Rice Lake can start in January during your winter break for initial training and onboarding. Your internship resumes when the spring semester ends and lasts until the fall semester begins. If you are taking classes over the winter break, your internship will instead begin at the end of the spring semester and last all summer.

Hi! My name is Taylor and I was a Digital Marketing Intern at Rice Lake Weighing Systems during my senior year at University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. I was able to complete and lead many digital marketing projects during my time as an intern, and I was able to transition my internship into a full-time career before graduating. I have been with Rice Lake for a little over 4 years fulltime and am our Digital Marketing Specialist. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, I work on SEO, paid marketing, email marketing and website marketing projects on a day-to-day basis.
