Out of three common methods used for axle weighing, a multi-platform truck scale is the most accurate, fastest and the only Legal for Trade axle weighing solution available.

One axle weighing method is to weigh the steering, drive and trailer axles separately on a truck scale, stopping and taring after taking each weight and totaling for a proximate gross weight.
