Get to Know the Rice Lake Load Ranger
Where Should I Use the Load Ranger?
Rice Lake Weighing Systems Load Ranger wheel-weighing pads are ideal for mobile and temporary applications and give on-the-spot weight verification. Select sizes and capacities are NTEP Class IIII approved, making them an ideal solution for highway law enforcement. This portable solution can be kept in a law enforcement vehicle to weigh anywhere and at any time. Ultimately, the Load Ranger helps law enforcement save time, accurately identify overloaded vehicles and keep roads safe.
How Does the Load Ranger Work?
To use the Load Ranger, the wheel pads are placed in front of the vehicle tires. The vehicle drives onto the wheel pads and comes to a complete stop when the tires are centered on the loading surface between the positioning bands. After the weight is recorded, the driver drives off the wheel pads and performs the same operation until all vehicle axels are weighed.
Simplify Your Operations
The Load Ranger can be paired with an optional touchscreen digital weight indicator. This indicator has a built-in thermal printer, which communicates wirelessly to the wheel pads for efficient results. This remote indicator features vehicle weighing software that eliminates human error by summing axel weights and then prints off a totalized ticket in real-time for the driver’s record. The wheel-weighing software can print and display a list of the last 3,500 vehicles weighed and has a semi-automatic and preset tare, making it easy to maintain vehicle weight records. This all-in-one solution allows for pairing up to 6 pads wirelessly or up to 14 pads in a hybrid wired/wireless configuration.
