Rice Lake, Wis.—Rice Lake Weighing Systems has upgraded the iDimension Plus's features to enhance performance in busy logistics operations. These include new mounting options, increased dimensioning power and a larger touchscreen for operators to ensure the iDimension Plus continues delivering accurate results in as little as 0.2 seconds. For mounting options, the iDimension Plus can automatically measure a variety of packages with a pre-assembled telescoping pole that can be adjusted to 48 or 60 inches (1.2 or 1.5 meters) above a work surface. The dimensioning head can even be mounted on a freestanding frame or existing structure at a height of 60 to 80 inches (1.5 meters to 2 meters).
The iDimension Plus is an NTEP certified Legal for Trade solution, dimensioning items as small as 2.4 x 2.4 x 2.4 inches. Shipments smaller than 2.4 inches can be measured using an attached scale and additional software. With a higher resolution touchscreen, operators get crisp images and easy-to-read weights on the 10-inch color display. All iDimension Plus systems come with a free program to connect with shipping software and current networks, simplifying data storage and making it easy to integrate with existing processes.
