Weigh Module Kits for Fertilizer Plants
Chemical and fertilizer applications require systems that withstand the challenges of corrosive environments.
Rice Lake Weighing Systems’ weigh modules for chemical and fertilizer plants combine multi-layer coated (MLC) steel load cells, stainless steel mounts and junction boxes designed for demanding conditions. The load cells undergo a two-step finishing process that protects them from the damaging effects of corrosive environments, while also easily distinguishing them from the 304 stainless steel mounts.
Weigh Module Basics
Weigh modules are an ideal solution to turn product containers into weighing systems with minimal adjustments to existing structures. Rice Lake's experienced engineering team created a comprehensive line of weigh modules and load cell mounts for every application. Our fertilizer plant weigh module kits use tank mounts and either single- or double-ended beam load cells with different capacities available to meet a range of application requirements.
RL1800 Mount Module Kit
This kit consists of a stainless steel junction box and RL32018 coated, single-ended beam load cells in stainless steel mounts. This module kit is ideal for low- to mid-range capacity tanks and hoppers.
RL1600 Mount Module Kit
This kit consists of a stainless steel junction box and RL75016 coated, double-ended beam load cells in stainless steel mounts. This module kit is ideal for mid-range capacity tanks and hoppers.
EZ Mount 1 Module Kit
This kit consists of a stainless steel junction box and the RL72020 coated, double-ended beam load cell in stainless steel mounts. This module is ideal for mid- to heavy-capacity tanks and hoppers.
